Dungeon Crawl Classics - Donald falls to his death!

Had fun playing Dungeon Crawl classics for the first time to replace our GM who is out due to family stuff. It was a lot of fun!

The party leaves Camp Vengeance, not feeling no concerns regarding the sick and dying in the camp..

As they cut through the forest area, they then enter a swamp area. In which they encounter a couple of 4 armed gorillas!

Then they camp out and are met with lobster people!

Then they reach the summit, and meet old lady! She attacks and summons a weird looking construct!

Summary 

 The party is busy going through the hot steamy jungle to get to Fort Vengeance. As we sleep in small wet tents, were set upon by teams of dinosaurs. Then the party is  ambushed by large crocodiles in the river. Finally we get to Fort Vengeance and get questioned why we have gone to the trouble to get to the fort, not believing that we're actually searching for the lost city of Omu...

Summary

Here Kyros turns level 3! And decides to become an Eldritch Knight! He learn dancing lights since he is human and his eyesight is lacking... Also Ray of Frost and Feather Fall!

To celebrate learning these new spells, Kyros joins the rat-pack into a temple area that is full of traps. Our cleric does a good job in finding the traps, while our Tortus Druid helps drag the party over the traps with his large spider wildshape.

Here the party learns about some traps can kill. Kyros shows off his dancing light cantrip with little fire tokens.

Notes

We learned that DnDBeyond really wants your money honey. And that 3rd parties who have better character generators can go suck an egg! Hasbro and WoTC love their fan base so much they screw them in software options.

200 EXP! Now my Protective Fighter is level 2!

Now that we have met some of the leaders of Port Whatever, we now have some kind of purpose. We've been tasked to find The Lost City of Omu! In which its crazy weird that the inner part of the region hasn't really been explored or mapped. All the maps just have white hexes in the middle!

Here we meetup with one of the merchants of the town. And get a chance to see what the main leaders of the town look like

We find a Tortle tracker to help us out, who happens to have a large mount that helps him slowly progress through the jungle. Occasionally stopped to collect water. We meetup with a badass Red Wizard that has a bunch of skeleton henchmen. Then we also meetup with some birds!

Then we fight some nasty vines that attack our scouts. One of our Lizardman scouts gets a chance to nibble on an albino dwarf corpse!

Here we went into a run down part of town and fought some bad dudes. Saved some guy!

I rolled a bad fighter, and then had the party get a TPK...

Then used a pre-gen Fighter in Defensive Fighting Style, much better. Likes to use shield for Defensive reaction!
